Aziesel and I were talking about my latest character's portrait a bit and suggested that perhaps everyone on Fredian who uses custom portraits could post a link to where to get them and after some time, all the portraits could be put into a compilation of a bunch of Fredian portraits. Good idea? Bad? Deserved to get egged? This is a good idea and I am downloading your characters portrait right now.
I wish I could find a good Nwn conversion for the picture I always used for Deirdre (a painting called Nine Tongues and One Ear by Luis Royo). Though I couldnt modify it now so it wouldnt do any good ah well.
By the way, slightly off topic can anyone tell me where I can find the head override? the link in the forums doesnt work and the file I found on Nwn Vault doesnt seem to be working properly for me even after I installed it.

let me know when you guys get this together and I can pop it up onto the server if we need it.... (for as long as it'll last) I do not want to "organize" it tho... I can only provide some rack space as it were  -head's override?? uh I have no idea... |

yeah, they are all still there.... 100's of em.... they can be accessed at: r1de.net/fredian-files/ftp user/passwd is the same as it always was.... dont ask me to remember it cause I can't... it'd be easier to just change it. |

Well I did put a similiar thread in the screenshots, but they were links to the portraits that they d/led, or made if they used their own websites. Anyway, I encouraged the idea of anyone that uses Non NWN/CEP portraits. Btw, I just use CEP portraits, was going to modifiy one portrait for Gkir  Edit: The link to that thread mentioned above |

Ok, fine... I guess... if your portrait is non-standard and want it to be able to be viewed b everyone, mail it to me at stopokingme@hotmail.com A few notes: 1. For those not aware, the files are saved in your NWN/Portraits Dir and will be formated: <name>H.tga <name>L.tga <name>M.tga <name>S.tga You must grab all 4 files for your pic and BE SURE TO compress them (zip, rar, whatever) - That will take them from about 500k for the lot to about 300k for the compressed file. This is a free hotmail account with 2 MB space - I dont wanna to have it rejecting people on size. 2. If you really want to post yours, but dont know which file name it is, you can eitehr browse the files (they are picture files) or you can export your character (saves in your local vault) and then use LETO to take a look at the .bic file and it will tell you what pic file youre using. 3. Do not send extra pictures you are not actively using (again due to the space limit) 4. Do it soon. Ill keep this up for a few weeks, compile the pix and send them off to r1de for posting. After that, I wont accept new ones for a while. 5. If you posted a link to it in the forums, please send me the email with the link anyway - I dont want to have to look thru the forums for you links I will get the ones from this thread though. |
