Lots of quests, friendly player and DMs, etc.
Criticisms: Quest npcs walk around almost randomly.. which lead me to miss the first major quest that would have helped me out immensely... Also makes it frustrating to hand in quest items...
Lots of areas with almost nothing in them.. when you have a slow character like you do at first, this can lead to a lot of tedium... Also tedius if you just want to find some monsters to fight.
Otherwise, seems like I will be here for a while to come.

quest NPC's most definitely don't walk randomly, if you follow them around, you'll see that. I use an advanced AI system, and they do all I tell them to. Glad you are enjoying our server though. Makz.

Off the top of my head, all areas around WS have something to do in them, may it be monsters, tradeskill resources or quests or NPCs that might help you out. I agree that the first 10 levels are the hardest, especially as a subrace, but as one can see, many made it above 10 and are near 40 perserverance is the key here and careful planning of which monsters and which areas to go to and which quests to do in which order. imho, bashing monsters first and then questing will be more helpful than the other way around. The major quest you refer to, is probably Hili, and yes he walks around a lot, but if you ask around, players might help you look for him or tell you where he is. Most of the quest items you wont have to hand in, only having the last journal entry before completion and talking to the npc will lead to completion as well i thik 80% of the time or more. If you need any help, dont hesistate to ask IC or OOC, veterans usually like to help out new players and its a good chance to get involved in quality rp and plots. Lastly, checking the fine boards and reading and posting here will help you get to know IoF much better too. Hope you will enjoy your time here and if you need help, again, just ask anyone and they will be willing to help you.
