Strength buffing items (eg gauntlets of ogre power and belt of frost giant strength) have no effect on the strength of a half dragon subrace character. Is this intentional?
Im new to fredian, so sorry if this question is old.

It is  You can't have more than a +12 bonus to any stat. The half-dragon bonus is calculated as a bonus, not a base increase. |

-er, but half-dragon doesn't give you the full +12, so the other stuff should help until you reach that...

Itis likely that there are other strength buffs already active...spells stack into that +12 too...
