ok heres how i discovered, quite entertaining i walked into castille dungeon and went to fight the spiders using terrifying rage, they failed they're saves i know they arent immune but they continued to kill me as i ran they chased after me, now dont get me wrong but fear makes them cower in a corner and stand there while i slap em silly? anyone got any ideas?

Hmm, never tried fear on a monster, if I had to guess it's a terrifying rage issue though. I can test as a caster for you later tonight.
edit: which spiders? I'm pretty sure there are living and non-living ones there.

I can tell you that my Myrk scimitar has a fear chance on it and ocasionally (though very rare) I've seen things get the lovely floating skulls and run away. It might not be that rare in reality - the things most prone to fear I almost alway kill on the first hit, so... I dont claim to know if this works in the same fasion as your spell though.

upon further testing of the fear i have found that it works on most monsters thanks to silentus i have evidence to prove it by saying about the skim.
as for spiders i think spiders are immune to fear although the ones in castille dungeon fail they're saves and i see the affect i dont hink they should be running, could be my mistake so lets investigate further yeh.

I believe the Spiders are Metal Spiders in the Castille Dungeon and that would make them golems which are immune to mind affecting, ie fear. Unless that is just what I spawn there.
