Fletching and Blue Dragons

I am currently taking up fletching with one of my characters. I have hit the stump of the recipe that requires Blue Dragon Blood to make lightning arrows. The recipe requirement calls for 3 Blue Dragon Bloods per attempt to make the arrows. The problem that I am having is that it is taking an unusual amount of time to aquire the dragon bloods necessary to get past the lightning arrows. I have already gone through almost 175 dragon bloods and my entry is still dark blue when at the fletching desk.

In my opinion (if it matters), the arrows of thunder and fire arrows are just as powerful as the lightning arrows are and are a heck of a lot easier to aquire the ingredients for.

Arrows of Fire = Fire Beatles (No Brainer easy to get)
Arrows of Thunder = Oil of Vukas (Can purchase)

I can understand the reason that you would not want to sell the blue dragon blood because of other recipes in weapon and armor crafting for uber type items.

What I am asking is this. Wouldn't it make more sense to make the Fletching recipe to require just 1 blue dragon blood to make the 20 arrows instead of 3 blue dragon bloods? Having the recipe require 3 blue dragon bloods seems kind of expensive in my opinion. Another suggestion would maybe have 3 blue dragons spawn in the dragon lair just like there are 3 fire beatles that spawn in the mines.

Just thought that I would make the suggestion for this recipe.

I agree with SoMF, one might think that all the blood acquired from those HUGE blue dragons (even though it only appears as one vile) would be enough to make 20 lightning arrows on its own, without requiring 2 more additional viles

I feel a can of worms here... then it becomes, why do we need 3 vials of blood for such and such

Guys, it's an imperfect system, but it is there to make certain things be worked for, just a fact. And as for more than one blue at a time... lagsville I may make him drop 3 at a time though.

If it's only blues that get changed, ok. But if the change affects other dragons, namely reds, there might be a problem.

I wouldn't want to see all dragons dropping x3 bloods. Wouldn't it just be easier to change the recipie to 1? *hides*

Already had decided to change actual recipe, meant it and book and store of course, not just a creature , but done.

Just a side thought for those of you not liking the fact that all those big dragons only have one little vile of blood in them... Consider it instead that only refined dragon blood may be used to create items and that Makz has been kind enough to remove the refining step so we dont have to carry around 120gal waterskins on us to take it from the dragon to the blood refining vat and then reduce it to 1 concentrated purified vial

(I know thats not in ATS anywhere, but if you want an RP reason, its as good as any.) BTW, thanks fo the recipe nerf Makz.
