Hey,
Crafting system looks excellent but i have some problems with weapon crafting. I havent yet succeed to make single dagger. Tried about 50 copper daggers. I have asked some ppl in west styne but not much luck.
My weapon crafting skill is 0 and guy on blacksmith only taught me armor crafting and i got 5 basic points. No probs with armor crafting.
Is somewhere weapon smith or any other way to get some starting points to weapon skill?

Just keep trying chances are slim at 0 weaponcrafting, I am guessing a high blacksmithing and Intelligence should help though.

Makz will correct me if Im wrong Im sure, but I dont believe INT has anything to do with ATS - that was a CNR thing. However at the beginning it is difficult. Having a higher blacksmithing skill will help. You can increase that by making copper studs (totally useless things that they are). Even though they are under armor crafting it will increase your blacksmith skill.
Personally, I generally just tried and tried copper daggers till it finally took. Most crafts begin increadibly difficult, but after you get your first 10 points or so it gets alot better.

Actually, INT effects Exceptionals at the very least. Also, CHA, STR and DEX are called in various parts of ATS.

Thanks for replies. Got it working and made first one after blacksmith skill was 20+. Brave dwarf is already in bronze era after few hours hard training.

Intelligence increases your chances of getting a point when you succeed, making wizards the easiest to craft with. Their low str and ability to lower it even more makes them, far and away, the best crafters.
