Greetings fellow Fredians, As mentioned in my follow up to yesterdays update, I have done even more testing and checking of ways to make those pesky zombies only spawn at night. As it does mention in the nwn lexicon, it does in fact not always spawn during the day, I tested this morning, and initially I was able to trigger a half dozen times with nothing, then suddenly next half dozen times, this is in day by the way, it did so, conclusion, the calling of night & day etc, is actually broken in some way in the NWN engine. Now, with that in mind, I am of two minds with the zombies, 1: remove them again from Inner Styne Castle, 2: leave them as is, the cleanup scripts get them once nothing in the way of a NPC or PC is in the area anyway, so nothing is left wandering around. Also, when the mod reloads I have done the following, 1. Changed the slip on ice down to DC 16, this is to help reduce the chance a little of low HP lst level PC's getting killed by it 2. Made Rodo, in the North Styne Temple of Tyr go to bed, I saw him toddle off at 18:00 on schedule on the test server, disturbing him will of course put that off a little, but he should go off, and thereby make the temple with no chatter at night. Other things, and also performed full DB and server vault backup to CD. Enjoy, Makz.
