Greetings fellow Fredians,
It's the weekend I know, but I am in one of my moods, so did a whole pile of work this morning.
1. Changed layout to 16x16 and spawns, treasure etc for Styne Village Crypt - level 1
2. Changed layout to 16x16 and spawns, treasure etc for Styne Village Crypt - level 2
3. Changed layout to 16x16 and spawns, treasure etc for Fredian Southern Swamps - level 1
4. Changed layout to 16x16 and spawns, treasure etc for Fredian Southern Swamps - level 2
5. Added waypoint parser to module properties per Deva Winbloods instructions to speed up NPC acts.
6. Added more onblock strings to NPC's in West Styne, try out getting in the way of NPC's like Hili, the Mayor, Mayors wife, Derto... and see what they say, this is NOT an excuse to spam everyone though, it's a way to add life to the mod.
7. Removed SendForHelp calls that are bioware defaults, these basically made NPC's and monsters call server wide to thier faction if hurt, dominated etc, thanks to Jasperre who responded to me on bioware forums about this. Apparently bioware are fixing this in next patch... but I am not waiting this definitely was also a source of possible lags, and MAYBE behind the NPCs in other areas that are quest related already being hostile... this one I am NOT 100% sure of yet.
NOTE: On areas I changed today, I have been seeing an entry in my logs for sometime now which says DTS-Debug +++WARNING+++ Failed to initialise loading default I have been RACKING my brain trying to think what it means, and biowares forums had nothing related to it... finally a light bulb went on, DTS = default tileset!!!!! ... has to be [EDIT:I am presuming this in the face of nothing from bioware on it.] Anyway, for sometime now, some of those crypts had been taking AGES to even load in my toolset, I believe that those were causing a timeout on the server = lag and = timeouts for players also in at the very least Styne Village - Crypt level 1. Hence the reason I went down to 16 x 16 and made sure all the tiles are fine in them.
Big one I know... but I had to do it.
Enjoy,
Makz.
