Greetings fellow Fredians,
Thanks to a little debugging, courtesy of Salandra... *BOWS* to his wife, I found and fixed the anvil issue... I am currently updating the trees to make sure they will give the staves still, you will find that when this is done the way you see staves initially will look different for LONG staves, in menu for crafting bows, it will now show Long elm ash oak whichever it is. When you look in your inventory, if you have ANY long staves that say Long Ash Oak or Elm note capital letter... THEY WILL NOT WORK!!, you need to place them in a chest and get newer versions, which all it does is change that letter down... bizzarre thing about the backend of ATS, but there you go. Not related in ANY way to the problem I caused with Anvil.
*SHOULD* be ready to load fixed version all being well within the next hour or so.

OK, it's up, I tested tree types for mining, I tested bowyering for both short and long staves use, and last but not least, I checked anvil for use now. ALL FIXED!!!!!!!!!! *collapses in a heap not to be seen for days*
Have fun!

Note in addition to all the changes I made... I had to rename ALL of the bows that used long staves each until now, along with staves being not a REAL resource, until now , have been changed to use LAK LLM and LSH to denote in their resref/tag that they are using those long staves... what does this mean to you?? you probably just lost any bows with old way in private chests, sorry casualties of such major changes, and I could not prewarn as, when I am on such a HUGE task, I just have to keep rolling, or it will NEVER get done. There is nothing more frustrating to me as a player to try something that does not work at all, that is a major part of my play, I sympathise, and did my best to get all working, with the knowledge I have, and then finally with help from Salandra's superious debugging knowledge, so that, it is not a problem now. Makz.
