can't get into server

i'm new to this server and just made my PC and try to log in with him. it won't let me it says "missing custom talk table" "cep.tlk"

First off, have you installed CEP 1.01 (get it here). This is required for IoF.

If you already have it and are a mac user there are some other potential install issues - just state if you are a mac user and other mac users here will give you some tips, or search the forums on CEP and MAC and youll find what you need Im sure.

If you already have CEP1.01, you might want to try reinstalling it - the file it is complainng about sounds like it is from cep so the problem is almost certainly there.

decompress it into a temporary folder...

now... you want to copy all the .hak files and place them into your ~nwn/hak directory.

copy the .tlk file into ~nwn/tlk, if this folder does not exist, create it!

copy the .erf file into your ~nwn/erf directory, if the folder is not there, again, create it.

1 last thing.... copy the .hak file from the HotU folder into your nwn/hak folder

that is it! CEP 1.01 should now be properly installed... enjoy
