I belive I came from a land that is very very far from here
This I know cause I cannot see the same points of light in the darkness
of night as I did at home.
I was born and trained as a boy in the dark arts. I cannot remember if my father and
family were drow, I do not think they were (since I am not, and Carthen is not....
I think they might have been normal elves who "turned".... or were spys....
I learned to question the reasoning behind both sides and the constant struggle
between the two. I wish I could have been born neutral, and I want to be. So I try to be
good to kind of "make up" for the past...
We used to go on raids into human villages and burn and pillage everything.
We would leave only a few behind because we knew they would just rebuild in the same place
and a new village would come to life with a new name. (why do the humans do that?)
Carthen is the product of one of these "left behinds". He is the child of a human
woman and my father.
I deserted my post one day and ran into the mountains and got lost
(I never learn huh) I was crossing a glacier and fell into a crevasse...
it was no ordinary crevasse however, I should have been killed by all accounts,
I believe that the crevasse was caused by the portal to this land, that I *must* have
fell into as that's the last I remember from before I came here... Falling....
That is about all I can really remember from before I came here, Carthen has since told me
that he belives that my deserting, caused an insurgance of my fathers followers leading to
his downfall and death. Carthen also believes that he may have fallen into the very same portal,
as he too was walking along the glacier in spring time hunting for food, when he remembers
falling, after that he only remembers fredian as do I. I would really like to learn this
telportation magic as I am a lazy wizard... I'd much rather jump from place to place
using my magic than walk....
