Quest cleansing not working for me?

My Bard is unable to redo quests that he has done which are more than a week old. I am somewhat positive of this on some of the quests, but the only thing I can think of that would allow me to prove it thoroughly is the thread titled "One Party Server" which, it would appear, was erased rather than locked. This displeases me. However, I know EXACTLY when I completed one quest, and it has definitely been more than one week.

I completed the "Displaced Sphinx" quest at exactly 4:45 PM (by my clock) on Friday, July 30. I am writing this at exactly 10:00 PM (by my clock) on Friday, August 6. It has therefore been 173.25 hours since I completed the quest (168 hours in a week).

This is definitely the correct character. I have had this problem in the past, but it was always fixed by re-logging. Re-logging and re-entering the area have not worked on this or any of the other quests. The other three quests are "Briars' Bramble in Their Side," "A City with a Problem," and "Badoc's Belt." I am sure that each quest was completed prior to "Displaced Sphinx," as evidenced by the fact that when I logged in I was still in the Harbor Inn with a full inventory to sell (due to my extremely hasty departure last Friday--I was leaving town, needed to go at 4:50, but didn't want to leave that quest hanging since I wouldn't be able to come back to finish it for a while ) Though I am sure, I simply do not have an exact time.

I am aware that the quest system has worked fine up until this point, with all errors being user-caused. I know the correct procedure for completing these quests, and am relatively sure that I made no error. It is, of course, still feasible that I did. Any suggestions would be appreciated, however, I think there is a very good chance that the system is not functioning properly (unless of course it was revamped without our being told).

Naraldur, did you have any PC's with same name that had a space in them? if so, that would be the only reason, I can think of. I know of NOONE, else with your problem. I am going to clean ALL of your entries out of the DB for your PC's and we'll go from there.

I have never had a character with a name even similar to this. If there's anything else that may be causing it, I'll provide whatever additional data you may need... Oh, and I like the thread retitling

I have actually many times been about 95% certain that my quests havnt reset after a week either and verified it by timing once - though the time I verified was after a spaced name cleanup, so that one didnt count. After a couple more days it will likely clear up and not be a problem again until it is I've always looked at that one as 'Well, I guess the townsfolk dont have a job for me today' and waited a littel longer.

In other words Makz, I think the problem might be larger, but I also dont feel that it really merits any real research time as it does seem to straighten itself out reguardless.

I am not sure what anyone gets with this, but, cartoonic at the very least does all quests usually once a week. It may not be 100% accurate that is true, but it most definitely does reset them. I am NOT going to try to find a way to make them 100% accurate to 7 days to the second either no.

Any quests completed during the 'one party server' bit may have reset the time for another week, if someone completed the quests during that period. Hasn't it been more than a week since that though?
