Amerien was born on the island of mel'nemesis in the city of Ralander. The city had a bad history of going to war with the nearby Drow Encampments and also had problems with a local Bandit/cult to the east of them making the city a harsh envirment to grow up in.
While still young Amerien left his home and traveled to a land he had never seen before it almost seemed as if he had entered another plane.
a Few weeks before he started his journey he had recieved a letter from his freind Calandur, it read the folloing:
Amerien,
I have recently journeyed South of our homeland for many days and i have come to an island that is most interesting. The city i entered in is called Peltarch and for such a large and glorious city i have found that it is quite unpopulated perhaps it has to do with the Moutain giants and ogres to the north, im not sure. However south of the city through the Nars Pass is a town called Norwick. Everytime i go into this place it reminds me of you, i want you to come visit but i must admit im not sure how i arrived here all i can do is hope that by some good fortune you find your way here.
Signed in elven,
Calandur
This note was one of the deciding factors for Amerien to leave his home, he was tired of the violence and did not like loseing the people who were close to him in the drow raids. he set upon a course to the south of his homeland hoping he would stumble upon this foreign land. He traveled alone for several weeks before becoming completly hopeless and lost. He drifted out on the sea for weeks and every day he slowly lost hope and the will to live. Finnaly when he could no longer go on he died out to sea alone.
It seemed more like a dream to him, dismall figures in the distance and voices echoning that he couldnt quite hear. It seemed like an eterity that he sat in this place unable to move forzen in time, he had no concept of anything around him only distant shadows gave him hope that maybe possibily he wasnt alone. Suddenly a voice came to him, one he did not know but one he did not fear. He looked for the speaker and was unable to find her. The voice gave him hope, gave him the will to live the ability to clear his thoughts and warm his soul. He never understood the words that were said to him but as suddenly as he had passed away into his dream world he awoke. He opened his eyes on a shore line a young elven girl standing over his sea beaten body. She said something he didnt understand and procceded to motion others over. He couldnt see the other but he felt himself being dragged by something, and he was sure it wasnt of humanoid nature. He slowly drifted away into unconsiouness again but for some odd reason he felt safe. When he awoke the elven girl was gone but what lay next him was a a fierce looking panther. It looking at Amerien as if trying to say something to him then it slowly stood up and moved away. As Amerien looked around he realized he was in a druids glenn but where he knew not. He slowly reganed his strength and ventured out of the Glenn, he traveled north fighting Goblins with the help of the panther. to his amazement as he traveled north he found a town and when he entered he learned it was Norwick.
The next few months he spent aquanting himself with the locals. He met many of what would become life long freinds and also made enimes all the time revisintg the glenn looking for the young elven girl but never finding her.
He learned the ways of the druid and came to find his silent compaignon was named Callin, a very strong panther that had been in the area a long time.
