The following was inpired by a man named Patch and is composed by my hand to work out the dread disease that darned rhymester Ruzzle Guzzle put into my brain,
Verbena Mistress of Illusion and Actress Extraordinaire
***********
Out the window and over the wall Defiant glare at an oak strong and tall
Magic mumbling and arcane signs Strong lad fights library's confines
School to school and master to master Anger swells and heart beats faster
Longing looks at tapestries of war Tutor's boxing leaves his ears sore
Clumsy and untried begins to despair From the harbor a ship's bell and free air
It calls him out like taunting foe Passage is cheap and escapes his woe
But storms rage and ships wreck Swept by wild waves from the deck
To land lucky to live and alone Lad is washed to lie prone
No more mage school, lost but free Give him a sword and see what will be...
