Greetings all, please note! this morning at update time, I will also be putting in a second Intel MT1000 in the main server, this will mean an extra 5 mins or so to do. This is in preperation for eventually bringing Server 2 properly online, and setting up some other stuff that will happen the weekend of the Anniversary party.

What do they say about the best laid plans of mice and men? Well... mine were definitely torn assunder, for now. At first the second card did not work, thought it was the cable, turns out to be bent wires in the socket of my supposedly new NIC. I then got it to work, only to find, that stupid NWNserver wanted to use the new NIC's IP, having NO idea myself how to get around that, I have pulled that card out again for now out of the main server...  Server is backup. No more interuptions today, sorry. Makz. |
