//This is the story behind Sarn Sacrimeh, //Sorry I had made the story so in debth to actually need chapters and to be in 3rd Person Omnicent(sp?) but thats normally the kind of roleplaying characters I make so I know exactly how they should react to other players and what to say when he encounters other people.
//This is the foreshadowing I did to what will happen in this "book" that I am writing. And I am sorry if all of it doesn't make sense but I guess I have it so drawn out in my head that I forget other people might not know these things. //These things are written here for people to know but in game characters should not know this for he reveals this secret to very few people.
Shadow Wood Foreshadowing
_______Life is hard at times. Great losses come from others enjoyment even if it was not meant to be that way. A simple game of poker can cause a man to go on the streets, sure he is at fault but the person who won is also responsible for his loss and misery. ________Certain people bring great loss to whole communities. These people do not think and some are killers and have no mercy. I have been against many of these people in my life, my long life still ahead of me and I have already seen such pain from these people. I hate, yes, I love, no, and I have a urge, and urge for vengeance. I am calm on the outside and I have no fear, but I am not on the inside. ________Fear is unrisistable, all have fear. Though I have the power to fight this fear for I have a greater enemy than fear. I am strong not only physically but mentally as well, though this has a double meaning. Fear is in me, as it is in you. I fear things, such as sadness, which is also inevitable. I hate to hate but I must hate. Fear is to hate and happiness is to love. They both come together whether or not you want it and you can not choose to take one or the other, or choose which of the two you take. ________I fear sadness, which is why I hate. I have had much sadness in my eighteen years of life and very little happiness. I want to live but I also want to die. I would die if I did not know I had a purpose. My purpose will continue until I am an old man in my deathbed or more likely at an enemies swordtip. ________I kill not for pleasure but to become one, one with my purpose. I must kill these people who hurt me and others and I will not stop until my purpose is complete, but this will not happen. I will live and kill, it is my punishment and my virtue. ________My life is hard but I have no choice. Mielikki heal my sadness so I can stop this escapade. -Sarn Sacrimeh #nosmileys

Shadow Wood Chapter 1 Preparations
________Underneath the trees a multitude of color could be seen in the sky. Reds and oranges as the sun settled behind the forest covered mountains. Not a leave sturred in the calm forest and the birds’ chirping was a peaceful relaxing tone that would send even the saddest person into a joyful mood and soon to sleep. ________This place was called Plalan Forest. It was a home to a number of groups of wood elves. In here they lived their own peaceful lives and they loved all that was around them. They never would have believed what was going to happen to one of them and their home. ________From behind a tree a young elf came picking up firewood as he went. His pinstraight golden locks flowing behind him and his eyes showing his innocence and youth. He was wearing forest green clothing with brown trim around the neck waste and light brown leather boots. He also had a leather pouch on his waste. He could not have been more than seven years old. He continued on picking up wood as he went. ________Then another young elf dropped down from a nearby tree; not making a sound as he dropped. This one a slight few inches taller than the first but his hair was not a bright gold as the first elf’s hair but was a stringy slightly dirty blonde hair color. He was wearing similar clothing except that it was not brown trim but was just a darker green trim on him. ________He greated the first elf saying, “Sarn, how’s the firewood coming? The elders need that wood soon for the festival.” ________“I know, but it his hard work finding wood here,” he said with a grin.” One never knows where to find it, Gerom.” ________“Come on Sarn, your father’s going to have a fit. Get that wood to him before he does.” Gerom walked away leaving Sarn there alone. ________Sarn put down the branches for a second and pulled out a small silver emblem round around the edges with emerald leaves around it and in the center was a bright white elven maiden. ________Sarn turned back the way he came and headed back for the village continuing to pick up wood as he went. When he got back he had two full armfuls and promptly headed over to the firewood pile and dropped it onto the pile. It was not much but it was all his small arms could carry. ________Sarn then continued to his home and when he opened the deerskin flap there was a much stronger taller elf there with the same hard and a stern looking face. “Son, have you gathered the firewood for the ceremony?” The elf put down a knife he was holding and walked over to the door while his son walked into the room. ________“Yes father, It is all done.” ________“Well Sarn, it has been a long day, and a long few weeks I hope you enjoy this night, the ceremony for the forest, and our appreciation of what it has given us.” ________“Yes father I have been looking forward to this, and since it will be my first time I was hoping to get a close look at it!” ________“Sarn, Sarn, of course I will allow you to have the closest seat, we better get there soon though or you won’t get that seat.” Sarn’s father pushed him gently out the door and sighed. He was wondering how his life brought his wonderful boy into his life, and how he would thank his god and woodland home for him. His son was the best thing that happened to him besides his wife. He had lead a happy life but it was short. He was only twenty-six seasons of age while Sarn’s mother was quite older. ________He sighed. Life was too short yet so long. Compared to Sarn he was an adult, compared to the life he will live he was a baby. ________He was worried about tonight though. He had a feeling something was very wrong, with dusk approaching he had no time to ponder it though. He had a feeling something was lurking just outside, or inside, the forest waiting for the perfect time to strike a deadly blow. He dismissed the thought though. Nothing has ever attacked this forest and probably never will. ________This place was a peace land. Everything who entered the forest was welcomed here and nothing would attack it. Almost nothing was too vile to think otherwise. Hatred was not welcomed and nor is vengeance. ________He walked over to a side table with a fine deerskin cover on it and picked up his knife. The knife was a family heirloom, it was a silver dipped dagger with leaf shaped emeralds put onto it for each generation that had it in their possession, including his, but not Sarn’s, there was 23.Bit he figured he would bring it just in case a wild boar came. Tonight was a great ceremony to the forest, the life in the forest, and their love of the forest. They must wait till sundown for it to begin. ________He looked outside to the setting sun; light nearly invisible behind it and the sky turning dark blue. The was moon shining in its normal bluish white light. Next to it he saw the first star of the night. He looked to it and made a wish. May Sarn live a long happy life, and may he never be troubled by danger, this is how it should be and may it be that way.

Shadow Wood Chapter 2 Destruction
________With Preparations for the ceremony complete Sarn and his father took a seat around ten feet from the fire, the closest you can get since you must allow room for the dancers. This was a clearing and one could see the moon bright above them. The sky was almost completely dark and stars speckled the sky. The trees surrounding them had a great majesty to them. Their dark wood trunks flowing up to thirty elf-heights and a great canopy engulfed to treetops. ________This being Sarn’s first time to witness the ceremony, which was a once a decade event, had only a vague idea what to expect. He knew it was a tribute to the gods and all the forest, and it was all powered by the people who were one with the forests. Druidesses such as Sarn’s mother, Laolin Sacrimeh, where powered by the gods of the forest to bring tribute to them and all other life in the forest. Tonight was to be a grand night. ________The god’s brung a blessing to all things in the forest, and it would last a lifetime. It would flow through the forests in magical being, magical lights, Faerie Lights, as some called it. It will bring things such as brightness, caring, and love to ones soul unless it was just way too corrupted to accept it. ________The dancers came out in a slow one leg hope spinning dance as soft elven maidens sung softly in the background. As of right now the fire was not yet lit but the dancers continued to do their dance around the firewood.
"Gurmir tegi lye liy, tegi lye adon, Ilya su i' ravan. lye liy, lye drag drag. Liy na faer lye su ar. I' ravan aul lye, Lye coi aul i' ravan, Liy nae i' ravan ent lye. Lye liy i' raven.”
________The singers sung on. And the dancers continued on. Then came a chanting from behind Sarn. He turned around and saw his mother, she was in pre white robes with a golden rope tieing the robe around her waste. To any elf slightly older she would have seemed to be very beautiful, in a different way then Sarn saw her. Sarn saw her as an Angel, and she did look like one. Her bright gold hair came down to her waist and emerald green eyes showed only kindness and love. Her slim figure did not show her two-hundred year old age. ________Yes she was old, but she was still beautiful halfway through her life. Any other male elf would have seen her as more than an angel, and she was an angel. She seemed to be sent by the gods for her leadership in the clergy. ________His mother sent out words than could only be spoken and forgotten and after some long peaceful second there was a huge din from the firewood stack. Sarn quickly turned his head back and sparks were sent from within the firewood stack but no flame could be seen. The crystal blue sparks flew up to the canopy of the forest and up towards the moon. Then came a different din and a bright blue flame flew out and over the firewood stack. The din died but voices continued to spill out. ________And a multitude of other sound spilled forth until a great neigh ended all the sounds. Faces appeared in the flame of elves and the bodies appeared and walked out of it. They appeared of crystal and the formed two lines facing each other. Sarn mother had walked around to the head of the two lines. The gallops came closer until a great unicorn came from the fire. It galloped galiently up to his mother and she put out her arm and petted the side of it’s face. It galloped off to the forest and she and the other figures walked around and sung. ________The singing went on until a pain came to everybodies chest. A great hurtful neigh came from in the woods and had everybody falling to the floor in pain. The neighing continued a cry of pain. ________The elves stood up and walked to the neighing with sadness in their eyes, and a look of worry on their face. ________The neighing continued until they got to where the glow and the neighing was coming from. ________Sarn’s mother walked to the glow, and the world was silent. Not even the sound of the crickets chirped. She went around the tree and there was the unicorn. A piercing blow to its chest killed it and sent the silver blood flowing from it to the ground. ________It was a unicorn no more. The horn was severed at the base and the people were saddened. This was the avatar of their god, slain and dismembered. They stared at it for a long minute without saying a word. This was no animal that killed it, no this was something more vile. ________They loved these animals with all their heart and they would never raise a hand against anything but an enemy. One of them looked more closely at the wound and saw its debth and razor sharp cut. No ordinary blade cut this. ________Sarn’s mother turned around and saw the unthinkable. A dark hand reached from the shadows and cut the throat of Sarn’s father and she screamed out; but no sound issued. She started to cry as she grabbed sarn and pointed behind all the elves while covering his eyes. ________The looked behind them only to see many elves slain at and they panicked. Sarn’s mother knew what it was. She knew why the world was silent. They would not be able to talk, and they would not know their doom until it was too late. The avatars of the great elves of the forest and their god ran into baddle with the shadows until all went dark. ________Sarn’s mother ran from there dragging Sarn. Sarn knew something had went wrong, and he was afraid. They ran until they got to a great oak tree. She rushed him up the tree. He looked down and saw his mother be slain by a dark figure. A sharp sword sticking from her gut and the figure in a mocking laugh. ________Her white dress stained in crimson, when her attacker pulled their blade from her she fell to the ground and the blood soon gathered about her. Sarn looked down with tears in his eyes, his mother and father were slain and he did not know what to do. To go down was certain death but to stay up meant living. ________But his mother was dieing if not dead, he wanted to be with her now. His mother sent him up the tree for a reason though, to save his own life. Death is not certain for him tonight and it was to stay that way, for it was his mother’s wish. He looked down to her one last time before he climbed up the tree.
