OOC If your evil and have a problem with a knight....jump him or deal with him another way outside of town. Ive seen this happen many times *coughsAviarandKell* They can't stay there forever and ar not always on duty. Heck get 'em while they are sleeping (my favorite tactic ;D ) If you're good, well you need to come up with something else like telling the King at acouncil meetings or something. Im evil so I know what I'm going to do. *evil laugh*

REf: No. OOCly, it has left a bad taste insome players' mouths as it was very close on the heels of some pretty nasty beahvior from her.
Apologies...but you think this is acceptable without a full explanation of what actually happened....This matter has really gotten under my skin...I apologise and consider it closed...I hope

REf: No. OOCly, it has left a bad taste insome players' mouths as it was very close on the heels of some pretty nasty beahvior from her. Apologies...but you think this is acceptable without a full explanation of what actually happened....This matter has really gotten under my skin...I apologise and consider it closed...I hope First, the her referred to was the character, not the player. It has been a very short span since the character was nuts and murdering people that she had never even met before. It was not meant as an insult but as a part of the discussion which as this is a forum for such things seemed pertinent...how players feel about where the world is going is important. Second, this was referring to IC character and OOC player opinions of it. It is not important to know what happened because in this case perceptions are everything. If you wish to tell everyone exactly what happened ICly feel free to do so, but I can't really see that as terribly likely. Frankly once the shock of it wore off, my band of merry men started demanding that I start plotting solutions Finally, I am sorry for any misunderstandings of what I said. It sometimes gets hard to tell what is an IC ref and what is an OOC ref. Regardless, the matter is one for IC resolution (and that is in the works, though still in its fetal stage). I will not be posting on this topic again for at least 24 hours or possibly not at all as I do not wish to see this inflamed for no particular reason other than a lack of clear communication. I have no OOC grudges, and I want everyone to enjoy the game as much as I do.

yay i think everyone can now happily play the game well except for me, my computer is falling apart, lol any way im looking foward to some major roleplay now that Pero's back, i found it hard to roleplay with a new character, and it was hard to get into any story lines should be some kind of agency to help low levels & noobs get into a bit of the action lol anyway i think i can say now were all at peace HUGS EVERYONE?!?

Okay, I would, as a player, appreciate the slander of police officers (referring to US) to stop. I grew up in a cop family and my health is the only reason I am not a cop now. Recent trial and punishment of high profile police brutality cases, etc. shows that cops do not get away with things just because they are cops. They are NOT above the law. Indeed, never said they weren't, but Im sure that a cop will act accordingly if he's pushed to his patience's limits. I think we can safely refer this to the knights here in fredian too. I wasnt aware of any slander posted on here Mitza...just fact...I have seen things by coppers that i really didnt want to believe, and im sure R1de has too....an we all have freedom of speech...so why say we are slandering if we have seen with our own eyes.

*shrugs* Have a few family and friends spend months recovering in the hospital from wounds taken in the line of duty and then watch them lose their life savings in civil suits for taking down convicted criminals, and you will have a different view of the police. Besides, in our world you CAN sue a cop who crosses the line (even if he doesn't), the Knights of the game are above the law unless the King decides otherwise. However, the whims of those in power angering the oppressed people to revolt is a classic theme, and an interesting one to explore "Help! Help! I'm being oppressed!" "M'Lord, the peasants are revolting!" *sneered reply* "The peasants are always revolting." *hugs to all*

Yeah...its a sick world alright.....and just to let you know Im not a revolutionist, or against police in general lol. Ok...back to topic. I would love fior something like that to happen, and it WOULD be great to RP, but the situation would have to be controlled very strictly....I could see that sort of thing getting out of hand very quickly.

i think that its a great idea having law versus chaos,
i also think that it would help evil role play, perfect oppurtunity to dig a wedge in and cause chaos while making room for your personal goals
muhahahahahahaha

i think that its a great idea having law versus chaos Have you been to an area called W. Styne? It's funny to watch sometimes, the power shift. Just the other night I was in W. Styne and there were a couple of knights standing around, some of their friends, and few 'bad guys' around. The few bad guys were in relative order, not causing too much trouble. I was talking to someone and looked around and notice 2 things. All the knights were gone and a couple more 'bad guys' showed up. Ut-oh, power shift.... All the bad guys form a party, and start plotting away. It was funny how everyone was on the same page w/o being told anything. We 'sensed' our prey was vulnerable and made our move. Classic. Might as well been hugry lions looking at a wounded zebra. ^.^
