Makz... Can you see me now?  If you cant see the banner, can you see my avatar to the left or the map for that matter? If not, maybe its time to find a new file host. I do have another immediate option if this one fails (my ISP supplied web space). If you want I'll FTP direct to your site but you'd need to give me FTP credentials there and I understand if you dont want to do that. With the number of updates Im doing though I dont want to send it to you to have you dump it there untill we stop at one. Anyway, do a refresh and tell me what you get |

The header Silentus, is the ONLY thing I can't see  I am on XP home with ie 6.0 and it should be showing, because, on XP pro on the server, I can see it on there... :/ sux. Makz. |

Strange... All those are hostedin the same place.... Can you see it when you go directly to the website: www.stopokingme.onasoapbox.com/banners/wierdgld.jpgAnyone haveany ideas here? All this stuff is being hosted off that same place... He should see all of it or none of it... I'll be in chat if you feel like it Makz - obviously no biggie - but I want you of all people to see this properly on a regular basis. |

If there are any images in the forums that you cannot see please let me know here or in PM. I want to make this as uniformily good for everyone as possible and will work to that end. Same goes for any forum based problems - I want to hear about them.[/b]
The only exception to this is player avatars as I have no control over other peoples websites.
(the problem in Makz case was that he had some anti-spam / banner removal software running that denied the image because I had it in a directory called banners. I moved the image and will no longer use that directory.)

Hmm... so only ONE entry so far eh? (Good job by the way). But like Hanah said earlier, some entry's that could be used as T-shirt logo's would be awesome. I'll probably end up setting up a t-shirt cafe site. That way their wont be any overhead costs, and all the benefits would go to Mackz. ;D So where are the artists on Fredian? I think Wierdness's logo dominated and scared everyone away... *chuckles* ... I'm still working on mine (aka: been doing so much else and social life activities that I haven't got around to it yet) I am also volunteering as a Staff Marshal for the Commencement Cerimonies here at the University, so any free time in early June is shot. I was really looking forward to what some of the other users would have submitted, but sadly nothing happend... umm... so can Wierdness post some more then?  Hanah- could you submit some "Order of The Stick" style logo's? (assuming you can't draw). And how about some morphing logos from Silentus? I am sure R1de could post some form of "Fredian Penguin". Just some thoughts... I'm just feeling a little "weird" being the only other person even considering submitting something. Cheers, Lumix |

I have seen Lumix make other artwork before. I think you all can expect some powerful stuff from him (see, now I put you on a pedestal and you have to deliver or else look bad bwhahaha)

 New banner by Cella put up today! (courtesy in part to Clyde Caldswell - who did the dragon heads for TSR relating to the dragonlance series) - Note, it would be best to not use copywrited material like those heads... but I dont think anyones going to bust us for taking about 5% of an image in this manner. BTW, anyone wishing to get immortalized in banner, PLEASE do so - The size requirements have changed - now looking for 600w x 100h (instead of the 800x100 initially stated. Email it to me and Ill put it up. I ultimately would like to find a way to randomize which comes up, but for now I have to change it manually. Untill I figure ot a better way, Ill change it every week or 2 and cycle to old ones if we dont have any new. |

Hey Wierdness - found a way to not hang you our to dry... just set them up as animated gifs - cant do this with too many images though or the file will get to large for our few dial up folk.
Also Cella, hope you dont mind, but I took the liberty of making your black background transparent.
Incidentally, if you are sending me images for the banner - I prefer to get them in PSD (photoshop format) if you have them that way - otherwise normal bmp, gifs or jpg are fine.

Yeah, I didnt bother with it alot after changing the color and cropping it down to 600 instead of my original 800 width - my fault.
